GET A LICENCE CHECK CODE
Before starting lessons, you'll need to provide your instructor with the last 8 characters of your driving licence and a code to check your entitlement to drive. Each code can only be accessed once so make sure you send a fresh code.
Go to gov.uk/view-driving-licence to begin the process.
To get the code, you'll need:
-your driving licence number;
-your National Insurance number;
-the postcode on your driving licence.
